Data analysis made easy with Zoho Analytics

As technical support to customers via telephone is essential to analyze all those metrics with which we can determine the current status of the operation and each of the consultants who operate in it, indicators such as average operating time, level of service, level of attention, incoming calls, answered and abandoned calls are examples of the many metrics that we can analyze with Zoho Analytics and which in a single dashboard is possible to view in order to determine the direction or adjustments to be made by the administrative staff, this tool provides details and accurate predictions of your business unit.
Pros
There are many tools to analyze data but when looking at the features provided by Zoho Analytics I can highlight its wide and diverse ability to import data through its connectors, these data are analyzed with its powerful BI processes also based on ZIA (Artificial Intelligence) providing details and highly accurate forecasts; All of the above is complemented with an impeccable and detailed visualization, in addition to this, with a perfectly organized dashboard and strategically located KPIs, this allows the work group or external staff that addresses such reports to see the most concrete details in order to make future operational decisions.
Cons
On a monthly basis we analyze the historical traffic of incoming, answered and abandoned calls in our operation, this data is imported in csv format and generally exceeds 250 thousand records; we have detected at the moment of importing this information a notorious slowdown of the tool and even being blocked for several seconds although after visualizing the information already in the tool this behaves with total normality, we make use of it to make the traffic forecast for the next month and thus to dimension the personnel and the schedules to achieve the greater attention of calls in some ranges of hours.

Easy to use but the reporting section is cumbersome
Reviewed on 17/10/2017
Pros
Zoho is easy to use and has a short learning curve. The staff in our office learned to use it in a very short time and the functions that we use it for is quite complicated. It has various features that make it easy to use and understand.
Cons
It quite often runs slowly. One day you will be doing one of the functions and the next day it won't work correctly, then the next day it might be working again. The reporting in the system doesn't seem to work correctly so we had to program a work around it which is somewhat cumbersome. We do our billing from this program and it is very awkward to print because you have to go into each invoice separately and print them individually. We have had to create other reports but Zoho limits it to 300 records so we had to divide the report up into three sections and print each section separately. I would say that the reporting is the worst feature. Also, occasionally Zoho will update something without informing us, this will often effect the functionality of the program.

We are using Zoho Analytics to create Dashboards and increase automation at our company. It is mainly a visualization tool, chosen because it is standardized whereas something like Excel often varies based on the user.
Pros
The software has numerous features to avail of, barring you take some time to explore the program and learn them. The graphics produced are clean and effective.
Cons
Some of the settings are cumbersome. I have been having trouble with widgets, and getting Dashboards to update/sync with graphs when their source data is changed. When you add a new filter, you have to reset all of the filters, which is a time-waster and annoying.

Overall, Zoho Analytics provides a robust suite of data analysis and reporting tools for businesses. With features like data visualization, functions/calculations, and KPI monitoring, it offers great insight into business performance and trends. The ability to import and export data, as well as schedule automated reports, helps to streamline the data analysis process. The platform also offers a query builder, widgets, and self-service analytics for even greater customization and flexibility. However, some users may find the self-service data preparation feature to be less useful and the platform as a whole can be complex and difficult to navigate for beginners. Overall, Zoho Analytics is a powerful tool for businesses looking to gain insights into their data and performance.
Pros
Zoho Analytics is a powerful business intelligence tool that offers a wide range of features to help organizations turn their data into actionable insights. With its advanced reporting and analytics capabilities, customizable dashboards, data discovery and visualization features, as well as its ability to automate reports and send alerts and notifications, Zoho Analytics provides businesses with a comprehensive solution for understanding their data and making informed decisions. Whether you're a small business looking to gain insights into your operations, or a large enterprise looking to consolidate your data, Zoho Analytics is a flexible and versatile solution that is worth considering.
Cons
The least useful aspect of Zoho Analytics is subjective and depends on an individual's specific needs and requirements. However, some users may find the limited customization options and data visualization tools to be restrictive, while others may not find the predictive analytics feature to be as advanced as other platforms. The lack of integrations with third-party tools may also pose a challenge for some users. Despite these limitations, Zoho Analytics provides a comprehensive suite of analytical tools for small and medium businesses, but it may not be the best fit for businesses with more complex data analysis needs.

Pros
Zoho Analytics is an excellent business intelligence tool, I like its capacity and availability to measure and analyze data, it is easy to use and at the same time very flexible and adaptable, it offers a neat and intuitive user interface in which you can navigate comfortably, Zoho Analytics allows us to integrate different sources of output data that are obtained from other tools of daily use in the fulfillment of our business activities, Zoho Analytics analyzes in depth our data and offers us the results in detailed reports easy to understand, allowing us to improve decision making, which for us has been very useful as it has allowed us to improve our business processes, while facilitating the exchange and collaboration with the team, last and not least I value its great integration with other native and third party tools.
Cons

- Easy report sharing
Pros
- The variety of pre-defined common reports generally required on regular basis are readily available for new users.
- New reports can be created with little extra efforts.
- Existing reports can be easily modified on need basis.
- Features like report sharing, mail scheduling features are extremely useful.
- Space quota availability is good enough for bigger database.
- Level-1 customer support available on chat is quick and good.
Cons
- Number of users is limited for various slabs.
- Limitation on number of email addresses while scheduling reports is restricted which makes report sharing cumbersome with larger groups.
- Post level-1 customer support should be improvised for better turn around time.
- Initial training for new Zoho Reports' users should be more effective as all the potential users for Reports are mostly PM / middle mgmt members who may not be well aware of various technical aspects of exploring around this tool
- Main dashboard is little confusing due to combination of "User filters" on dashboard level as well as "User filters" on individual reports level. Needs improvement to align both the filters either by way of "Notification" etc. on individual report where filters are conflicting. This will avoid mismatch in data presentation.

Pros
It is very easy to use and can create quite sophisticated reports given the ease and speed of use. It is also very affordable and can scale quite nicely while remaining affordable.
Cons
The requirement to store the reporting data on the Zoho servers can be a little cumbersome and may not be the most secure solution for storing sensitive data.
