Manage Engine Applications Manager include its licensing costs, which can become expensive as infrastructure scales, and the need for more comprehensive documentation.

Database Monitoring is one of the best features in Applications Manager.

When its comes to the Auto discovery can be improved.

We use applications Manager to monitor all our IT resources with this product, It helps in identifying the root cause of the issue, generate reports and Alarms saves major of time with great support and development team

The product does a great job at monitoring different applications such as SQL. Although the alerting is very helpful, the best feature is the ability to run predefined and custom actions to address issues in real time. In our case we used it to monitor App Pool memory usage and at a certain interval reset the app pool to avoid loading errors on a 32-bit applicatino.

Likely not the fault of this specific application manager, but it takes a while to get your monitors and alarms set up and working. That aside the only minor inconvenience is trying to remember where to find each thing that needs to be managed. Can sometimes be hard to remember what specific screen you need to be on to obtain a particular metric or setting.
