A Review of Google Classroom
Reviewed on 07/07/2024
Pros
One of the standout features of Google Classroom is its seamless integration with other Google tools. This makes it incredibly convenient for both teachers and students to access documents, spreadsheets, and presentations directly from the platform. The user interface is intuitive and straightforward, allowing even those with limited technical skills to navigate and utilize the features effectively. I particularly appreciate the ability to create, distribute, and grade assignments all in one place. The notification system is also robust, ensuring that students stay informed about upcoming deadlines and any updates from their teachers.
Cons
While Google Classroom offers a lot of great features, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The lack of a built-in calendar view can make it difficult to get an overview of all assignments and deadlines at a glance, requiring users to switch between Google Classroom and Google Calendar. Additionally, the grading system, while functional, can sometimes feel a bit cumbersome, especially when handling large volumes of assignments. Another limitation is the lack of customization options for the interface, which can make it feel a bit too rigid and less adaptable to different teaching styles and needs. Lastly, the platform can occasionally experience lag or downtime, which can be frustrating during critical times like assignment submissions.

Google Classroom streamlines online learning with its user-friendly interface, efficient assignment management, and seamless integration with other Google tools. It enhances communication, collaboration, and accessibility, making it a valuable platform for educators and students alike.
Pros
Google Classroom's integration with Google Drive, ease of assignment management, and real-time collaboration features streamline communication, simplify grading, and enhance the overall learning experience for both students and teachers.
Cons
The interface can be unintuitive, and notifications overwhelming. Integration with non-Google tools is limited, hindering seamless workflow management.

The system is flawed but really simple to use. It’s not the best LMS but most people have some familiarity with Google and are use to its design and system. I’d like to see major improvements to this system though.
Pros
I like how easy the system is to use. It is fairly straight forward and can be accessed by anyone who has the Google account. The style of the LMS looks like a social media posting site. You have 3 tabs the students can explore and posting is unlimited. There is a grade book feature with a rubric integration. It’s a good tool for essay grading and submitting documents.
Cons
The platform lacks many of the features of most LMS SYSTEMS. it does not ingrate well with complex plate risk checkers like turnitin. You have to manually add students each term as it does not integrate with other systems. If you copy a course then you loose the ability to utilize the plagiarism tool. Students also are confused by the stream where communication is posted. It also doesn’t allow you the ability to pin important documents to the top of the page.

I've been using it for more than 3 years and i never experienced this feeling of comforts during the time i was working. Its really an app/web that allows you to discover a new site full of features and different stuff.
Pros
It's really good for all type of people to be honest. It's also easy to use. Very handy for people like students or someone who needs an app that allow them to work in full comfort.
Cons
The only thing i didn't like about it was the fact that you can't leave a group if you aren't the one that created it. I would like to have a button for that issue.

My overall experience with Google Classroom has been largely positive. Google Classroom offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it easy for both educators and students to navigate and utilize its features. Also, the platform simplifies classroom management by providing tools for organizing assignments, facilitating communication, and managing student submissions.
Pros
What I like most about Google Classroom is that it streamlines the management of classes by allowing teachers to digitally organize, distribute, and collect assignments and course materials. This reduces the administrative burden on teachers and keeps everything neatly organized and the integration with other Google tools, such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Meet.
Cons
What I like least is just the inability to schedule assignments for multiple classes simultaneously.

My overall experience with Google Classroom has been highly positive. It offers a seamless and intuitive platform for both educators and students to engage in virtual learning.
Pros
The most impressive aspect of Google Classroom is its seamless integration of essential features like virtual classrooms, file sharing, and real-time communication tools, all within an intuitive and user-friendly platform. It promotes collaboration, engagement, and efficient teaching practices in a digital learning environment.
Cons
While Google Classroom offers a robust set of features, one potential drawback is the limited customization options for educators in terms of grading and assessment. Some users may find the grading interface somewhat rigid and may desire more flexibility in tailoring assessments to their specific teaching methodologies.

Overall, google classroom is great. Through its features, I didn't have to spend lots of money for learning management systems offered by other companies. Even though you might need to use other google products to utilize its whole sense, it is still easy to do since almost everyone has google accounts nowadays.
Pros
I use google classroom as a student and as a teacher as well, and for me, its pros are:
-It's easy to organize things like materials and homework
-It's easy to create a feedback and provide grade
-You can post any type of content (pictures, texts, videos, audios, and even quizzes and surveys)
Cons
The only con I can find in google classroom is you might need to use other google products to maximize all the features.

I am a huge fan of Google Classroom and have been using it every day for years. It allows me to keep all my work organized and in one spot, but also permits my students to always be "in the know" of what is happening, what materials they need, and when items are due.
Pros
Google Classroom is a simple, user-friendly approach to classwork management. From the ability to post daily stream content to copy-read assignments, Classroom makes distribution and collection of work a snap. Scheduling posts and materials, organizing work by topics, grading assignments, and student interaction are all incredibly simple and easy to navigate.
Cons
There are very few cons to Google Classroom. Rearranging materials on the Classwork tab can be cumbersome and clunky, particularly on a touch screen, as materials can be too easily dragged and dropped around. I enjoy the product overall, but there is a really nice "random student" selector that is only available on the app and not the browser version, which would be a nice inclusion.

Overall experience with Google classroom has been really great for me. It is something I use daily and I wouldn't really imagine my work getting easier without Google classroom.
Pros
Ease of use would be first for me. One don't need a tutorial pr anything to use Google classroom, it is very user friendly even for a kid. The ability to come together at a same space and especially for teachers and students is commendable. I can easily share a no. Of files or links in a blink with everyone. The quality of audio and video is really great too. I haven't really faced any issues till now.
Cons
The least I like about Google classroom would be the interface. It can be more smooth working. Sometimes Google classroom lags a lot.
