Amazing POS system

Overall my experience has been amazing. I look forward to many many years of their service

Pros

The customer support is hands down the best. From the demo to the instillation and now use, the support team at SMRT have been there. This system compared to my last POS is 1000% better. Easier to operate, staff and customer friendly.

Cons

There is really nothing that I don’t like. The only issues that I had was when my data was merged from my other POS to SMRT. Some of the customer info was mixed around, but the staff at SMRT was there to make things correct.

Best Dry Cleaning POS System

Overall the experience has been great! We have cut way back on the numbers of calls we used to make to customers, the amount of paper we handle. We used to have to void and rewrite tickets when mistakes were made, and now it is so much easier to change and edit tickets when necessary. Training drivers and scheduling pick ups and deliveries is super easy.

Pros

We love how easy the software is to use, the route app is terrific, communication through text and email has significantly cut down on phone calls, estimates are responded to very quickly and our customers love it. The reports are endless, we have hundreds of KPIs to help us with sales and marketing.

Cons

We have had a few challenges with the accounting; it works but the developers have promised to enhance it based on our feedback.

Our internal company communications, automation with management reporting, billing and customer resolutions have been the biggest benefits with the software implementation. What took several emails, manual phone calls and meetings with our management are now easily reported across all communicaitons channels and have reduced the time to resolve day to day processes.

Pros

The installation, training, and implementations were a breeze. Using SMRT software for our operations has allowed us to implement, automate customer communications and improve our operations over night. We are upset at that fact that we didn't switch over years ago. The training for our staff, drivers, markin, office, and production was incredibly easy. It has exceeded our expectations thus far.

Cons

There is not much negative to say. As we discover features we wish we had, their staff is attentive and responsible and always find a better way to resolve our operational issues.

Easy transfer and start up

My overall experience has been positive. The texting feature allows me to comunicate easily with my customers and has made my delivery service more efficient. Support is fast and usually solves your issues very quickly, either with email or on the phone.

Pros

This software is easy to learn. Training new employyes is easy. It is flexible and adapts well to the way you run your business. The ability to communicate with your customers through texting has been a big help. The support has been excellent.

Cons

I would like it if it printed tags for the lot system assembly operation. It is not a major problem but it would make it easier for my operation.

Wish we made the switch sooner!

We have improved garment tracking and communication internally and with customers. We are able to be really transparent. The customer interface is great. The team is great to work with! Our systems and processes are getting streamlined in a way we've been dreaming about for years, but had roadblocks with previous software.

Pros

So easy to use and setup. My staff basically trained themselves. When we do encounter a question or issue, customer support is super responsive and we have our needs met immediately. It's a very intuitive system, easy to navigate and figure out even without a lot of training. One of the best things about it is the web based platform so that we can easily access the system from anywhere to help with training or trouble shooting even when not on site.

Cons

My only issues are tiny, nit-picky things with headings or section titles that don't really change the overall function, just the look of things.

Duke's Cleaners on SMRT

When we switched to SMRT we didn't have a route at all and now it is growing weekly. With the clients being able to setup a pickup/delivery right from their cell phone.

Pros

This is by far the easiest to use POS we have ever used. It has anything that you would want to run your Dry Cleaning business

Cons

It could be a little more marketing friendly.

Cons

Our old system did not allow for the picking up of a order without processing a payment. In SMRT this is possible but there are management tools to successfully monitor these tickets. Just a shift change in

A Company That Cares

Our experience has been fantastic. The big difference for me with SMRT was not that everything was perfect on day one, but that the company actually cares when I have an issue and helps me resolve it in a timely manner.

Pros

The best feature that ALL other softwares lack, is the communication module between customers, CSR’s, and drivers.

Cons

Reports are a little tiny bit disappointing. While support can create any type of report you need, it would be nice to have them readily accesible to run with different criteria as needed.

Pros

The transistion was very smooth and the support team is extremely responsvie to each of my requests. I feel comfortable working with the SMRT team and am very glad to have made the switch to this software.

Best damn pos there is

From start to finish on our change over SMRT is the best damn POS out there !

Pros

From the change over to the delivery for my business the SMRT Systems way far the best easy teaching employees how to work the system my customers swear that the texting to let customers no the there Dryclean orders are done is far the best in our industry!so glad we went with SMRT!

Cons

There is nothing not to like it is very easy to teach employees how to run there system and there tech support .very professional there are on top of anything you can ask for them to due love all of our guys and gals at our tech support for the best !

Fantastic! Soup to nuts!

Pros

The people behind it! It seams in this day and age, most software has bells and whistles, some of which do the same thing, only its a step by step process to get to results. SMRT is quick about it!

Cons

Nothing really negative to report, only that there are some features that could be implemented to make daily usage better from a management standpoint.

My overall experience with SMRT has been great. The customer support and complete openness to look for and create new functions has made our everyday use easier. The ability to track garments, contact customers, track drivers, and option to make just about any kind of data report we request has been a life saver.

Pros

-The best features for us in my opinion are, the driver app and ability to track orders to the second they are delivered, the line of communication it has opened between us, and our customers.
-The system is very user friendly and is far superior in the detailing function for our CSRs

Cons

-We are missing one feature, however, we understand that the function we need is specific to our business and will need to be created from the ground up, and is no easy task. We have have had constant contact with this matter, and know our request is being worked on.
-The integration was not necessarily easy, but with the help of SMRT we have been able to cater the system to meet our unique needs

So happy we went with SMRT

Our previous Compassmax software was not adequately addressing our needs and we are overall quite happy with how well we have been able to improve the management of our business with a system that is easier to use .

Pros

SMRT has dramatically improved the management and efficiency of our business. We have specific needs catering to hotels for uniforms, staff clothing and guest clothing and we needed to streamline and better integrate our accounting and delivery processes. SMRT has enabled us to do this and helped us improve the quality and speed of our business where we need quick turnaround times. We also found that the software works seamlessly with our Metalprogetti conveyors.

Cons

Not a lot to complain about. We would like one or two minor accounting features added but those would be specific to our particular type of business.

We have had nothing but a great experience with SMRT, from the hardware & staff. Support is very quick to respond. My prior system support was not as responsive and created frustration when we needed an issue/question addressed.

Pros

Software is extremely user friendly. Staff learned the system within 1 day. The system assists daily routines and has saved us time throughout the day. I like the fact that I can connect remotely and see what the next day is going to look like workload wise. The customer communication features are fantastic. Customers have enjoyed and found the feature extremely useful.

Cons

I am happy overall with the reporting function, but would like to see some of the reporting capabilities in planning move into production sooner. The reports I do have allow me to manage my business effectively, other reports would expand on that ability.

Ross was great getting us trained.

We had a major issue with the credit cards not transferring over. Caused a lot of stress and took away from the ease of the transition.

I think rewording some of the questions prior to going live, would ease some confusion we had regarding our delivery service. (master delivery location)

We have been using SMRT for almost two months now, and support has been great. Hopefully that continues.

Pros

The ease of delivery.

It is web based and not app based. Feel like more customer are inclined to log in through a link versus having to download an app.

Barcoding system.

Cons

When something needs to be post spotted and you have already assembled, it splits the entire order. Can't just take the item of that assembly number and leave the rest of the pieces there.

Some of the reports are a little difficult, but support has been great when we have questions.

When making a quick for a customer under the "other" option, we do not get two copies. We have to reprint one. It prints two under the "laundered shirt or household." Thought an update would have happened by now.

So So Simple!

The training process was very smooth. We trained remotely and then went live with two of SMRT's trainers onsite. They were wonderful to work with. The data transfer was so much better compared to the process with SPOT. SMRT's import process allowed us to focus on training day 1, instead of importing tickets manually.

The support has also been phenominal, they get back to me and my team very quickly and are always friendly.

Pros

My favorite thing about SMRT is how easy it is to use. Unlike other systems that are complicated to navigate and hard to understand, SMRT feels like a breath of fresh air for the Dry Cleaning industry. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would improve my business. After installing it, it was even better than I had imagined. We have been on SMRT for about a month now, and every day we love it more!

Cons

They couldn't print the lot tag number on my temp tags, but they added that feature a week after we went live. No complaints here!

Get SMRT!!!

Overall experience with the people and the software has been nothing but positive.

Pros

The software is only as good as the team who's behind it, so far SMRT have some SMRT people behind the scenes. Software it self is easy to deploy operate and understand kinda like plug and play. One of he key things is this guys do a great job working with you understanding your business and tailoring the software according to your business needs and making it more efficient in the same process.

Cons

Not much downside to the software, Going in with the understanding SMRT is a young company doing it right helps, with all software there is bound to be little flaws here and there but the most important thing here is that SMRT likes feedback from the customers so they can do the proper adjustments as more people ask for them or if your business needs it, for me at least that is extremely important that they keep the creativity going.

Transition from SPOT to SMRT was smooth. Support is very timely in responding to issues. I couldn’t ask for a better software partner for my business.

Super easy to use, lots of valuable features, very good support, route app is great, customer communication platform is the best!

Cons

No software is perfect, including SMRT, but I really can’t think of any cons. Issues that we have are addressed immediately!

Pros

Get SMART

The move was exciting and not filled with pressure. The SMRT integration team was helpful, courteous, and kind. At the end of the first day Our customer service team asked why we hadn't made this move sooner. Customer service has improved through texting and email.

Pros

Page loading speed - being able to switch screens within a users operating level
Easier to train new employees - ability to work more efficiently

Cons

Only one week in to it. So far very impressed and confident that this is a great move going forward.
