Best Motion and Video Creating Software I have ever used.

Reviewed on 10/06/2022

Adobe After Effects is one of the best video editing software in the current market. It integrates seamlessly with other Adobe software, making it easier to use. You can do nearly any kind of visual effects using this software and it would improve the post-production quality of the video. You can make an intro or high-quality outros for your videos and it's got a great overlay concept as well. It gives you total control, and it makes it easy for you to decide because you know what you want to do. I will recommend others to use it.

Pros

I have been using After effects for three years now for my video editing work and it has helped me a lot in my work. Adobe After-effects have all the capabilities possible for motion graphics, visual effects, compositing, and VFX. I enhanced my VFX skills with this software. It also features advanced tools like cutting Chroma keys, text animation, visual effects, motion, and movement tracking, and more. It can be a great tool for novices.

Cons

Sometimes, Adobe After Effect can be time-consuming for rendering if the computer is slow. But if we have a powerful machine, then it's certain that it can export within minutes. All other features are outstanding, with no negatives.

Best Compositing, Video Editing and Effects Software so far. Except...

Reviewed on 16/11/2022

Superb! I Have lots of profitable and memorable projects done with Adobe After Effects. If there is one software you need who can do Effects and Video Editing, After Effects is one whole package to root from. Highly recommended software for enthusiasts and aspirants.

Pros

- Major major pros for after effects is I guess it is one of a kind compositing software in the world that can act as effects composer and video editor as well. - Just think of it, it can do it - from MoGraph, to fairy dust effects, to 3D and 2D Animations.- It allegiance with Cimema 4D is one of my most coveted feature here. You won't be banging your head on the wall for simple to complex 3D effects, right there you have it.- Media support support and compatibility specially with Illustrator and Photoshop - seamless!

Cons

- Customer support. This software needs to be an American Company again. Customer support are just terrible. They lack product knowledge, lack empathy and they lack the right customer communication.- Steep learning curve. Which is understandable. Beautifully composed effects comes with a price to pay - learning-wise. So pay it!- Expensive. I don't agree with there subscription basis. They should bring back perpetual ownership of the software.

My overall experience is good. Adobe After Effects is my main program for editing.

Pros

I like the effects and transitions that come inside the program that makes the video looks very professional and the ability to make the rendering using my GPU.
Also, I like the ecosystem between adobe different programs and that I can transfer my project from After Effects to premiere.

Cons

I don't like the crash that always happens when I am editing 4k videos.
I don't like the large RAM consumption when using Adobe After Effects.

Adobe After Effects the powerful tool for creating visually stunning animations

It offers a wide range of features, including sophisticated animation tools, special effects, advanced compositing options and more. With an intuitive user interface, it's easy to work with layers, masks and effects to bring your ideas to life. Plus, it's compatible with other Adobe suite software, like Photoshop and Premiere Pro, making it easy to work across projects. I highly recommend it

Cons

the software is complex to use, especially for beginners. It can also be expensive for users who do not use it regularly or for personal projects. In addition, it may require powerful computer hardware to run smoothly and without problems.

The best vector animation software

Reviewed on 08/09/2022

We have been using this software since the very beginning of our organization. It does provide the tools you might need to create any animation, or even video edits (without the convenience of other specialized video editors).

Pros

This is a full video edition solution covering almost any requirement when producing a video. Notwithstanding, the main purpose is to create animations that perform just as desired. You can begin with an already made vector or even a normal video. Honestly, possibilities are endless with this piece of software.

Cons

The user interface may be very challenging sometimes
It is expensive software, not for every budget.
The rendering system drains the resources of the computer, so it is very advised to employ a third-party software as Adobe Media Encoder.

The Tool which you actually need!

Experience with After Effects is really very good. One can play around with different things in After Effects like Video Editing, Motion Graphics, and VFX. Making things scratch feels great. I usually add third-party software with After Effects to save time. I would highly recommend it to my fellow friends.

Pros

I have been using After Effects for a while now and I'm really enjoying all of its feature.- Can be used for Video Editing, Motion Graphics, and VFX. Not every Video Editing Software can do this.- The Rendering Speed of this Software is really nice. Saves a lot of time.- Can be interlinked with Adobe software like Illustrator and Photoshop. It really helps a lot when you're trying to make something related to Motion Graphics.- You can make transitions and effects from scratch and can control it as per your choice.

Cons

After Effects is really good but there are a few things that I don't like about it.- The Ui of After Effects is little tough for Beginners and it really needs some good practice of yours if you genuinely want to learn about it.- It consumes a lot of RAM if we're running the software. Thus it makes the system run slowly.- After Effects Crashes lots of times resulting in the loss of unsaved projects. There is no way you can retrieve the lost data.

The cornerstone of our Video Editing Business

Reviewed on 20/05/2022

Would say that this is the best software we found for editing and with plugins it is versatile enough to fulfill all our requirements.

Pros

We have been using After Effects for about 10 years now. We started with basic editing and with various plugins like Element 3D, we are able to create good animations all inside After Effects. I would say that there are a lot of pros:

1. Student discount and subscription model.
2. Very easy learning curve.
3. Amazing fluidity with other Adobe products.
4. Less system requirements to start.
5. Has hundreds of plugins.
6. Well documented on the Internet.

Cons

- There are various updates that occur periodically, often they might break a plugin.
- Crashes, there are at least 1-2 crashes a day.
- Bugs are still present in every iteration.
- Need Adobe Media Encoder to render.

Adobe After Effects, a standard in the visual effects design industry

Reviewed on 08/09/2021

As I have already said, I like to use Adobe software, so using After Effects became a daily part of my workflow, I feel happy with this software and it has helped me to work in a great way the post-production of my audiovisual works, giving them life and helping me to create a unique aesthetics.

Pros

I like the Adobe suite, it's practical, it incorporates software for about everything and I believe that today it's essential for any company focused on the design business.

After Effects is the proposition of this software bundle for the development and design of animations and visual effects, it's useful and has everything to create quality projects, this software is a standard for both mega-corporations and small businesses, and freelancers.

Cons

On its own, After Effects would be just another software, it's useful, but it has weaknesses, weaknesses that are compensated by utilizing other Adobe software to which we will have access.

But if what you're looking for is to have a single software that fulfills exactly the whole process of developing and editing post-production, Adobe After Effects is not for you.

Adobe After Effects Review

Reviewed on 15/02/2023

Adobe After Effects is a versatile and powerful software for creating animations and special effects in video productions. With a wide range of tools and features, it's perfect for video professionals looking to add a creative touch to their projects. However, the software can be difficult to learn for new users and requires significant system resources. Overall, I recommend Adobe After Effects for its features, but I suggest new users to take their time to learn how to effectively use the software.

Pros

I used Adobe After Effects for 5 months to create animations and special effects for my video productions, and I must say I am very impressed with its versatility and features. The software offers a wide variety of tools and options for creating complex compositions, adding special effects, and enhancing the quality of video productions.I particularly enjoyed the library of pre-made effects, which allowed me to easily and quickly apply impressive effects to my compositions. The color correction and video stabilization options were also very helpful in improving the quality of my productions.Although the interface may seem complex at first, I quickly learned to navigate the software and effectively use its tools and features.

Cons

While I was impressed with Adobe After Effects' features, I found that the software has a steep learning curve. The interface can be confusing and intimidating for new users, and it took me a lot of time to figure out how to effectively use the tools and features.Additionally, the software can be very resource-intensive, which can make it challenging to use on older or less powerful computers. Render times can also be quite long, which can be frustrating when quick results are needed.

Industry Standard for Motion Graphics

Reviewed on 14/04/2022

After Effects was one of those programs I knew I needed, but didn't want to need. I had to learn how to use it because it vastly improved my production value, which allowed me to charge more and scale my business.

Pros

The magic it can create is unreal. The production value of any project can jump leaps and bounds after a round in After Effects. Most people in my industry use Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects concurrently. I prefer to create/modify elements in After Effects and then use them in Final Cut Pro. It's not the most efficient way to do things, but it's doable and effective.

Cons

The one thing I don't like is that it's an Adobe product. Adobe are infinitely the champions of organization and structure. So much so that without prior knowledge of how Adobe programs operate i.e. file directory structure, etc - After Effects would be very difficult to learn.

Tutorials or external instruction is usually needed. Once you get the hang of it, it's incredible powerful software.

Amazing software for fx and animations

Reviewed on 02/11/2021

In general, it seems to me to be one of the best software on the market in terms of fx mainly, it has tons of tools and there is a very large community that uses this software, so if you have any questions, someone has probably already answered it on the internet.

Pros

It is excellent for making animations and all kinds of special effects. It is a very powerful software, with a lot of customization down to the smallest detail. I don't recommend using it only for editing as it is very heavy.

Cons

Like most Adobe programs, we are talking about very expensive software, which does not even have a student version, the only thing it has is a discount. Merely speaking of the software, it is called quite a bit even on very powerful computers, you have to remember to save at all times.

I absolutely love After Effects been using it since version 6.5, wow, almost 16 years ago and still is one of my favorite pieces of software to create motion graphics and animations. It's th perfect companion for Adobe Premiere Pro since the integration is a core part of the video workflow that I have.
It can get frustrating sometimes, it will lag when there is a significant project to render and it sometimes crashes on me. I learned to live with it, and I cannot think about producing videos without the usage of my trusty AE. Good times when the software was able to be purchased in full, but for now, get used to giving Adobe a stipend to rent their software.

Adobe After Effects

Reviewed on 13/01/2023

Overall, Adobe After Effects is a powerful and versatile tool for creating high-quality animations and visual effects. Its steep learning curve and high cost may be a disadvantage for some, but the software's capabilities and integration with other Adobe programs make it a valuable tool for professionals in the industry.

Pros

One of the biggest pros of After Effects is its versatility. It can be used for a wide range of projects, from simple animations to complex visual effects. The software is also highly customizable, allowing users to create their own effects and templates to save time on future projects.Another pro is the software's integration with other Adobe programs, such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro. This allows for seamless workflow and easy transfer of assets between programs.

Cons

One con of After Effects is that it has a steep learning curve. The software is quite complex and can be overwhelming for beginners. However, there are many tutorials and resources available online to help users learn the program.Another con is the cost. After Effects is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, which can be quite expensive for individuals or small businesses. However, the subscription also includes access to other Adobe programs, which may justify the cost for some users.
