For my company uptime is essential to our deliverables, and we're held to SLA requirements by contract. I can demonstrate both uptime and issues beyond our control that should not affect SLA (IE the customer doesn't renew their domain or uses a weak registrar).
Pros
I've been with Site24x7 since early days and the team keep adding functionality and more granular and complex ways to test my essential services. Service is always on and both custom and provided distributed pollers are rock solid--if there's an alert I can be sure it's not a false negative.They also provide plenty of statistics and pre-alert diagnosis so things like regional outages or problems with a registrar are obvious from the outset.Plenty of ways to notify, including integrations with 3rd party solutions such as PagerDuty and xMatters for scheduling team coverage and response.
Cons
Initially the service was limited in some ways but the team was very responsive to feedback and quickly upped their game.I think the only thing I'd like to change now is automatic ssl cert issue detection/warning of impending expiration for all https monitors.

Quick and easy to set up with plenty of documentation and configurable options with a price tag that won't make your C level bat an eye.
Pros
Alerts can easily be customized to be as noisy as you want or not at all and everywhere in-between. A lot of options such as SMS/Email/etc for alerting as well fantastic bonus features such as a NOC view makes this product stand out from the rest.
Cons
The recorded steps feature overall is great but I would like the ability more easily edit the steps as right now it's a little too complex to modify the existing recording.

Pros
Ability to keep good track of your estate with detailed alerting and notificions through a number of channels (text, voice, email etc.) depending on the priority or environment.
Really helps to judge wheather something is going on production which need's immediate attention or let the alert be for a while when CPU consumtion on test is a bit high, that doesn't require immediate attention.
Cons
It's pretty hard to implement standard build plugins or even implement your own custom build plugins.
This has everything to do the way things are meassured and the way thresholds and availability checks are setup.
You could endup with a bunch of false possitives during the night ....
It would help a lot if this was documented better or explained in a training of some kind.

Nice interface, moderate to easy setup, i couldn't install some agents (eg. java) for another ME application (SDP) or couldn't find helpful documentation. The basic monitors work great, not so easy to tune, though. I've used other complicated platforms like NewRelic and this one is relatively easy to setup and mantain, aimed towards SME market. Also, the pricing is much more affordable.
Pros
Variety of monitors, agents and different platforms supported.
Cons
Pricing is not very clear, also the sales process a bit complicated.

It was incredibly easy to hook Site 24x7 up to our Vcenter and pull in most of the servers and infrastructure that we wish to monitor. The ability to add in extras such as services and application monitoring on top is great.
Cons
Sometimes it is difficult to determine where the licenses are being used for each monitor, the numbers don't always add up, a little clarity on this would be helpful

Cons
The german translation could be a little bit better. it's not bad it's just a bit funny or unusual at some points.

Here is my Site24×7 review. I have my WordPress Server monitored by Site24×7. We understand the access situation from Europe, America, and Japan to the US WordPress server. In addition, I register the site information of Apple and Japanese blog influencers and check the difference in access time from my own blog. This will give you an idea of how to improve your blog's access time. In addition, you can also understand that access is slowed down depending on the country due to trouble. You can also see an increase in the number of visitors to your blog. I don't understand this technically, but I've seen reports of similar phenomena in Japan. Probably because you're getting US access because the server is in the US and not Japan (not really the reader). Site24×7 is a must-have app for anyone managing a blog with WordPress!

The point is that you can see the access status of the target server at a glance!
Cons
Monitoring server configurations requires specialized knowledge and skills. For that you need to study.

We can get into granular detail and see what's going on on all the endpoints, servers, websites, device etc and it auto heals them with IT Automation plus comes with an awesome NOC view. Good Stuff

Site24x7 provides an excellent monitoring service for internal process and external service monitoring, at a very low cost.
The integrations with different notification channels lets us target the appropriate audience for the messages.
The API for creating and activating/deactivating monitors is very user-friendly and intuitive.

Pros
I can setup a service and just let it run and do its job. It is actually better than having an employee try to perform these functions.
Cons
The only con would be the cost and complication of implementation for certain monitors.
