Used them to great effect for several events, easy to use and integrate on Facebook, and the fees were relatively low considering the features they provide. Definitely would recommend to others
Pros
Eventbrite is a great platform if you have an event (or events) you are selling tickets to online. - Easy to integrate into Facebook Events so your followers & FB friends can purchase tix right from the events page. - If you have a scanner, you can scan tickets and register guests as they arrive so you know who has entered already, and who has not yet scanned their ticket at will call- Pricing is not too expensive in comparison to many other ticketing sites
Cons
I think Eventbrite could reduce their fee structure a bit. As they are not involved in the event itself, taking a portion of each attendee ticket sale (3.5% fee) in addition to their $0.99 Service fee seems a bit excessive. I realize this is likely the structure that has allowed them to grow to such a large business in the events space, but I think this model may be a bit much as event organizers also have to pay the $9.99 monthly fee to be an Eventbrite member. However, in the grand scheme of things - the convenience of the Eventbrite service is worth the fees so far. Really no other major gripes with the service

My organization has used Eventbrite for many years scheduling events, advertising events, and selling tickets. It's been a flawless experience!
Pros
Eventbrite is my go to for searching for events in my area. This works for personal use AS WELL as professional use because I'm searching daily for activities and events for the clients I serve.
Cons
Zero Cons, except I wish the Older reporting was going to still be available after January 1st.

We've run a few free events over the years, and it went rather well. The great part is when there is a waitlist and people can automatically get signed up for an event when a ticket becomes free.

I am generally pleased with Eventbrite and their platform. From a planning perspective, the company's user interface is very intuitive and makes it easy to create an event.
Pros
Eventbrite offers a very simple way to create dynamic content directly into a browser, and it's simple user interface is very intuitive. Additionally, Eventbrite interfaces with several CRM platforms so we can interact with our target audiences effectively.
Cons
There are some limitations to the type of content we can offer. Primarily, the platform is geared to obtaining registrations for events, so trying to use it for other uses is limited. Additionally, our clients have complained that it is difficult downloading tickets, calendar invitations, or other third-party items that confirm an event registration.

Overall experience with Eventbrite has been fantastic. Unfortunately, the change to the custom question feature has forced my organization to migrate to a different platform.
Pros
Eventbrite provides a very robust and comprehensive platform for registration for complex events. The support documentation available on its website is excellent. I've been able to easily find ways to accomplish everything needed for our events on Eventbrite.
Cons
The ability to ask custom questions during the registration process is extremely important for the events hosted by my organization. While custom question are supported by the Eventbrite platform, they have recently been moved so that they are asked only after registration is completed, with the result that users are able to register and pay for their tickets and then just ignore the custom questions.

I have personally done registrations and ticket sales on Eventbrite at least 100 times for both personal and professional use. Overall, it's a good tool. It's not perfect but overall, I like it.
Pros
Eventbrite is very easy to use And as well known by the public, so is also a relatively good promotional vehicle
Cons
It's not cheap. I always hate the percentage that comes out of ticket sales whether we pass it along to the consumer or not. For the price I feel that it could have more enhanced functionality.

Eventbrite is highly flexible and works well for our smaller or free events. On the other hand, Cvent is our go-to for larger events that need custom apps, onsite badge printing, and various conference-specific features. The price Cvent charges is worth the value it delivers for these occasions. For low-cost or free events, Eventbrite is still the preferred option.
Pros
I found it incredibly easy to use, making it simple for both small and large businesses to create professional events.
Cons
A downside is the steep fees, particularly for high-ticket events.

I’ve utilized eventbrite for a few years now. It makes finding local events that interest me very easy. Whenever I need something to do on the weekend with family or friends, I know I can rely on eventbrite to provide me with good suggestions. It’s easy to navigate, filter, and share event information.
Pros
I appreciate the ease of use within the app. I can very quickly find local events that spark my interest and next steps for reserving my spot. The filtering capabilities are very useful to narrow down the best, most relevant results to me.
Cons
I can’t say that there’s anything I don’t like about the app. I’ve been using it for years and am able to quickly find what I’m looking for.

Overall Eventbrite made ticket sales for our conference a breeze. The site is pretty intuitive and, as I mentioned, the payouts are super prompt and detailed.
Pros
Eventbrite is easy to set up for an event. We set up a conference with over 300 attendees with multiple discount codes. Payments are super easy and paid out quickly. The analytics are really helpful. We also used Eventbrite for our 50 volunteer positions. Since it was for volunteers we were able to use the Eventbrite app free of charge and easily set up extra options such as shirt sizes and preference of days/areas to serve.
Cons
Our greatest issue with our volunteer sign up is that it constantly got "sold out" with applications from India and Africa asking for letters of invitation to Canada for our event. I asked Eventbrite if I could limit the volunteer sign-up to our province, or even only Canada, but they have no way to do that. As such, I had to go into the app daily to delete ineligible volunteers.

Eventbrite Review: Room for Improvement

Pros
I thought Eventbrite was relatively easy to buy tickets on, and I liked receiving an email confirmation once purchased.
Cons
When I bought my tickets for an event on Eventbrite, I was not given a barcode to check in at the event. It seemed as though there was miscommunication between the organizer of the event and Eventbrite. I used the "help" feature to attempt to talk to a representative, but no one got back to me in time. Seems very disorganized.

I love the ease of being able to find local events and following some of my favorite event producers and promoters! Pros
The ease of being able to find local events and register and buy tickets to local events!! Booking and finding was a breeze!
Cons
The inability to find out how many tickets are left available for an event. Also, sometimes it would be helpful to see how many people are planning to attend an event. Eventbrite also doesn’t show previous attendees’ experience.

I had a fundraiser - a Purse Bingo and I wanted to sell tickets ahead of time through a secure portal that people would not feel scared to use. It was a great option, and I will use it again and again for all my ticketed events in the future.
Pros
I loved Eventbrite for my Purse Bingo event. I will never use another platform again for events where I require ticket purchases.
Cons
I'd rather have the option to allow ticket purchases right up until the day of the event. It could have been an option, but I didn't see it when I created the event.

Once I got my event set-up, I was happy with how easy it was to check on ticket sales and respond to questions from potential attendees through the Eventbrite system. Their site is not at all complicated to navigate, and their Support staff is excellent to work with.
Pros
It's really easy to host an event through Eventbrite, and to manage that event as tickets start selling and the date grows near.
Cons
There wasn't a comprehensive "How To" for newcomers to look at before setting up their event. I would start, then realize I needed a graphic, so I had to stop, create a graphic, then continue. I like when a site has an easy-to-use guide for newcomers.

Overall, my experience with Eventbrite has been cool! It has its ups and downs. You really have to do your research when it comes to the people hosting the events you want to attend.
Pros
What I like most about Eventbrite is that you can find events in your neighborhood or surrounding areas to attend—whether you're looking to have a good time, network, or promote your own events.
Cons
Anyone can post an event on Eventbrite, and some may overhype their event, making it seem bigger than it is. People might overcharge, especially for vendor opportunities, and if no one shows up, it could end up being a waste of time and money.

Honest Review of Eventbrite

Although my experience with using Eventbrite was a positive one based on the ease of use, shareable link, and AI additions, I was not able to use the video feature advertised. An option for layaway payment was also not available on the application. Eventually, I ended up using a different application. This was mainly because the down payment feature that I needed was not available. I would probably use this application again, but for a different type of event.
Pros
Creating an event description within the Eventbrite was a simple process. It allowed both use of my own wording, and an option to generate one through AI. This was what I liked most about Eventbrite, as I was able to create a listing quickly.
Cons
I wanted to upload a small 10 second clip of the event to the listing I created. It could not be uploaded despite the website clearly depicting the ability to do so. It displayed only as a picture. As this was for a theatrical performance, the video would have been the perfect sales pitch. There wasn't anything that I could locate on the website clearly stating the size of the graphics or video that could be uploaded. This was quite frustrating. I wasted twenty minutes of time trying to troubleshoot the issue. In addition, there were not options for more than one payment. The option of an installment plan with each ticket was necessary for my venue.
