A fantastic website which allows you to use different functions to create various documents and diagrams. I have created multiple documents such as Strategy alignment chart and it didn't take long at all to do it.

This does have a limit of 3 live documents per free user. Increasing will certainly bring more people to use this.

It is available for free to use for students and it offers very creative ways to visualise and help mr as a researcher to organize my ideas in a meaningful way and identify gaps and bottlenecks

one area that I think could be improved is the user interface because at some times it feels cluttered and overwhelming. Simplifying the layout and making key features more accessible could enhance the overall user experience. Also, i have noticed that the performance can slow down with larger or more complex diagrams, which can be a bit frustrating and impact productivity.

It is web browser based, which enables me use it for my diagramming needs on any desktop device without first installing software.
Also, I like that it integrates smoothly with my Google Drive. This has meant automatic backup of all of my flowcharts, process maps etc diagrams in the cloud.
Lastly, I like the vast template library it provides. I have relied heavily on them to ensure that I don't have to create process diagrams from scratch , as there is always an available template for any process diagram I have needed to create using Lucidchart.

Because Lucidchart is browser based, I have sometimes encountered lags, when accessing large sized process diagrams .

The various options and controls the application provides are the main likeable features of lucidchart. The collaboration that allows multiple users to see and edit simultaneously is a great feature.

Navigating through different libraries can be challenging for some users

As a basic diagramming and mind-mapping tool it works without an issue. You have all the shapes needed. It is simple enough for anyone to use

What I found bad about Lucidchart is the UI and collaboration with others compared to Miro. The UI looks outdated and takes the fun out of drawing. Collaborating with others is not seamless like Miro where you can collaborate in real-time, chat or take audio calls.

Very appealing UI, encouraging to explore the tool, easy to start using the tool

the only downside is limitations around objects in one file with free plan, but it is still enough to explore the tool capabilities

You can easily create color diagrams and flow charts.

There's not really any negative features we've discovered.

By importing data, it is easier to create a diagram with real information and have a well-understood visualization. I can create diagrams as a team in real time to organize the information with my colleagues and have maps or diagrams in record time. The pre-designed templates make everything easier to do and I can have a broader inspiration and with the help of artificial intelligence

I can't say something that I dislike because I have never disliked anything

The ease of digitalizing all of the processes is just awesome. When I discovered this tool I was really impress how easy it is. I had some basic knowledge of UML and BPMN so it was clear to me what type of block to use when and why. It allows me to create really robust process maps, that's my main use case for that. Since I learned how to use it, every time I talk to with somebody about any kind of process we start to map it there, just to see how it looks and visually look for some errors and things that can be done better.

The free version in my opinion is just not enough to really get your hand on this software. You got just 3 documents with 60 shapes, if you're a person who is really detailed, that amount can be used really quickly not making you see the value in it.

I love the visibility lucid gives to your work! It allows you to always have a whiteboard that never has to be erased and can be kept and referenced long after meeting times end! I do not miss having tons of images on my phone of whiteboards at the end of meetings!

I truly love everything about Lucid, it fits exactly how my brain works!

It has been a platform that gives me the option of generating more fun diagrams and not presenting the normal boring diagrams, I express my best ideas and in a creative way the entire organization of the information is created with customization and with the help of AI it makes everything easier to do. I like it because I can express my ideas well in a creative and fast way

In reality everything has worked well for me and I don't have any kind of difficulty in its use

Not really a finder of dark side of things

Not as flexible to export to other software

It easy usage to create flowcharts and many options it provides

I have faced problems with Quip integration.

A great tool to document your process or record SOPs in a diagrammatic way.

Nothing specific that we dislike about Lucidchart

Simple, elegant, Easy onboarding. It has a sync and also a collaboration feature, that has been helpful at times.

The limits for subscription, these tools are free now, the payment / business model should be something simpler, and not forcing users to stop.

I love the flowcharting and the sticky notes, it makes it easy to collaborate and track my work and get all my thoughts laid out clearly

I don't love the notes and how difficult it is to add a note to a shape, I end up just using the sticky notes and setting the sticky note close to the shape I'm trying to add notes about.

great templates to use. It made chart making quick and easy. The end designs looked professional

The costs of the paid version/ It was not value for money for the amount of charts i was making

Lucidchart is a powerful tool for creating diagrams and visual workflows. I love how intuitive and easy it is to map out complex ideas with its drag-and-drop interface and vast shape library.

Some advanced features can feel a bit clunky, and collaboration tools could be more seamless. Overall, it's a great tool for visualizing processes efficiently.

Mostly the outreach from sales people in the company who want me to upgrade. I’d prefer them to share me tips that I can use today with the software I have and then show me ways these things can be enhanced with some subtle sales upgrade prompts.
