I got an affordable, and effective solution for my POS system needs. We all have found the menus and programming to be easy
Pros
The price is the most attractive feature, as well as the ease of use. The flexible and affordable monthly payments are nice too.
Cons
Can't use terminal when someone is using the manager functions on other terminal. There are some short delays in running reports at times.

It’s been very good overall. Great customer service.
Pros
It’s user friendly. Once my employees use it for a couple hours they pick it right up.
Cons
We were unable to set up our online ordering from the table. There were too many steps for the clients to take.

You can contact me directly or follow the reddit thread regarding Cake POS. I have continued to update my experience with Cake POS and it is bad. Consistently poor experience at every turn and every new challenge of the restaurant.
Pros
It is a simple product but it is not for a table-service restaurant. Best for a simple counter service operation.
Cons
Customer service has been horrible. Bad attitudes, lack of help, and terrible at resolving issues.Tripled charged me for additional POS system.TERRIBLE installation strategy. Self-Installation with no assistance if it doesn't work. WHAT?Fabio blamed ME for the installation not working. It is a simple plug and play but what happens when that doesn't work. They shrug and say it is your fault. Wow. I've had much better experiences with LightSpeed/Upserve and SpotOn at my other restaurants.Avoid this at all costs.
Reasons for Choosing CAKE POS
Sometimes you make mistakes with your decisions and they have minor impacts. Choosing CAKE POS is a MAJOR negative impact that has resulted in LOST SALES for the restaurant in a tough environment.Anyone can contact me to discuss my experience more. Cake does not care about the customer and has never cared about my negative experiences.Switched From

The rep, our contact person at Cake, is AWESOME!!! :)
Pros
User-friendly, love that we can make changes off-site, looking forward to using their Guest Manager program and online ordering!
Cons
We wish the pizza part of their system was easier to use. Half & Half pizzas are almost 50% of our orders, and it is not the easiest to enter on this current version. The only think we liked better with one of our former systems, is that it showed an actual picture of a pizza and we could click and drag toppings from one side to the other. Much easier and better visually. We are hoping Cake implements this in the future. :) (Hope that helps).
