Microsoft Teams

About Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is a chat-based workspace within Microsoft 365, which enables users to view and collaborate on documents directly within the application, participate in voice and video conference calls, view full conversation histories and email-style conversation threads, and more. Teams has replaced Skype for Business as Microsoft's online meeting solution.
Microsoft Teams can be customized to suit each individual team, with users able to create tabs for frequently accessed documents or regularly-used cloud services. Integrations with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Power BI, Delve, and Planner are all built into Microsoft Teams, allowing users to access and collaborate on a range of files. Skype for Business integration facilitates video and voice conference calls between users, connectors can be used to pull in notifications and updates from a range of third party services including GitHub and Twitter, and the Microsoft Bot Framework is also supported, bringing intelligent bots into the team environment.

My overall experience with Microsoft Teams has been relatively positive. That may be due to my not having to use it terribly often, though, as I have heard less positive things from coworkers who have to use Teams on a daily basis.
Pros
The most useful aspect of Microsoft Teams is obviously the ability to communicate with a large group of co-workers.
Cons
It seemed like there were a lot of lags or times when it was difficult to hear the speaker in a large group meeting.

It has been mostly good, the move over to the new Teams interface has caused a couple of odd bugs, however, these are bugs that they can fix.
Pros
It is very easy to setup meetings, townhalls, live events, webinars, etc. compared to other platforms.
Cons
The NDI functionality within Teams is exceptionally buggy at the moment with inconsistent functionality. We will have the NDI working flawlessly today, and tomorrow it won't work... on the same computer and same account.
Reasons for Choosing Microsoft Teams
Our free trial was coming to an end on the Google work suite, and as we primarily use Microsoft for our events, it was a more obvious route to move over.Switched From
Google MeetReasons for Switching to Microsoft Teams
We use both Zoom and Microsoft for some of our clients, however, we have found that Zoom is strong in some areas, such as large webinars, but Teams is better for meetings. However, the pricing of Zoom is a lot more than Teams.- Industry: Retail
