Shortcut

About Shortcut
Built specifically for software development teams, Shortcut is a cloud-based project management platform for collaboratively supporting the full planning, build, and launch cycle. Scalable to cater for non-profits right up to Enterprise-level with variable subscription pricing packages, Shortcut also promises robust, out-of-the-box integration options for the likes of GitHub, GitLab and Slack etc, with API access for developing custom workflow automations. An online UI allows users to create a “Story” for describing any task, job, feature or build, before defining “Milestones” and “Epics” for goal-based progression. Drag and drop Kanban workboards allow task workflows to be rearranged and prioritized intuitively while keeping every team member updated. Reporting tools and data visualizations including cumulative flow diagrams and burndown charts also support greater visibility on overall progress and achievements.
Key benefits of Shortcut
• Shortcut delivers features to make project management comprehensive and intuitive for software development teams, offering a cloud-based solution scalable enough to meet the needs of non-profit organizations all the way up to Enterprise level.
• Tasks, chores, features and builds are definable as a "Story" with "Milestones" and "Epics" used to signify, mark and measure project progress.
• Kanban boards can be built and managed via drag and drop, updating all team members on task status while using Shortcut's reporting capabilities to chart achievement progress.
• Shortcut app for iOS provides mobile users with features including quick tap story creation, story searching, visibility on Epics progress, a working Dashboard, plus project activity tracking within the Activity Feed.
• Third party integration for tools such as GitHub, Slack, Zendesk, Google Drive, Dropbox, Bugsnag, Clockify and others is extendable via Shortcut's own developer API.

I am a bit newer to the PM world, but jumping into Clubhouse and getting going was quite easy! It's helped me set some order to my projects and collaborate with the proper people in a timely manner.
Pros
Once you understand the structure of the application, like the epics, stories, and iterations, it becomes very easy to navigate. The collaboration with team members and tracking of features or bugs makes it very valuable for our dev and product teams!
Cons
You do get a lot of email notifications when you are mentioned or anything related to you is updated, it would be nice to combine these notifications into one email every couple of hours or so.

A solid 8.5/10. Would recommend to others, would use again and keep using, but could stand to improve a few features that would bring it up to a 10.
Pros
This software is a curated experience that intentionally limits setup and flows compared with other products like JIRA which are less "bounded." I think this is better for most teams which do not care to install extra plugins and fight with non-intuitive workflow items.
Cons
There are some quirks in group selection and application, filtering, and sorting that do not always let me cross-cut the data the ways I want.
Reasons for Switching to Shortcut
Was here when I got here and curated experience. May shift to Gitlab eventually since we do our code there and features set is similar (even if it does not look as nice) to save on the monthly cost. The price point is completely fair, but just an extra expense not worth it for a few features missing as we migrate.- Industry: Accounting

I really don't like it. It's trying to be something in between original trello and more feature rich issue trackers, and fails to provide a better experience than either.
Pros
Nothing. I would never choose to use this product after doing a proper comparison of similar tools.
Cons
Backlog management is almost non-existent. There's no good issue filtering. Prioritization isn't a first class concept either. Epics can't be linked via dependencies for larger roadmap planning. This puts the primary focus on the team and people instead of the project, which is critical for any useful issue/bug tracker.

Pros
The ability to plan and curate our product backlog and create customized filtered views of our stories.
Cons
The product does not have a great way to document individual requirements or acceptance cases.
