About AlertOps
AlertOps is a cloud-based incident management solution which helps NOC, ITOps, and DevOps teams collaborate and automate responses to critical business issues in real-time. It enables users to set-up various escalation and routing methods to facilitate the management of triggers across organizations.
Key features of AlertOps include on-call schedules, reporting, live call routing, alert aggregation, team management, real-time collaboration and mobile incident management. The tool allows users to create custom workflows for sending alerts to stakeholders and lets ticketing software automate callbacks, close/open tickets, and fetch data from other integrated systems. It also enables users to integrate their platform through Web API or email and send notifications from monitoring tools to all concerned groups.
AlertOps, built on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, provides a role-based security module which enables users to define user roles and maintain a secure work environment as required by businesses. Its Live Call Routing system allows users to route calls to multiple teams in real time and track every call interaction.
AlertOps facilitates two-way integration with several in-house and third-party softwares such as JIRA, ServiceNow, and more. It also provides mobile applications for Android and iOS devices, which allows users to respond quickly to critical incidents anywhere, anytime.

We work for the Emergency Department 24/7, and it's imperative that we don't miss any calls. It's important also that the calls are transferred to the right person.
Alerts are working for us!
Pros
I can make the schedule ahead of the time and make changes immediately when needed.
Cons
Limited options for individual responses to the extensions.
I'd love it if I got the voice messages in text form.
Reasons for Choosing AlertOps
Answer Connect has a team of agents responding to our line, and human error was the cause of missing calls, transferring the calls to the wrong person.Reasons for Switching to AlertOps
Mr. English called me and helped me set everything up for the trial. I feel that your organization is there to help customers with little or no knowledge of the software. Thanks!Response from AlertOps

Pros
Easy to integrate with existing services. Interface is very intuitive. Easy to set up new users. Easy to customize alerts.
Cons
Pricing structure is confusing and my emails requesting clarification have gone unanswered. Also when my free trial ended I was locked out of my account without access to make the purchase. Had to email support to let me back into my account to pay for subscription.

The overall experience has been great due to the price point and customer support. I have recommended alertops to other people before and I would do so again.
Pros
The value for money is fantastic, much more affordable than other available software. It has a lot of integrations as well with phone notifications, slack etc. Customer support is very responsive and helpful.
Cons
The UI can be difficult to use, and adding /removing people on the roster seems to recalculate everything so you need to be mindful of what the existing roster was before changing it.
Response from AlertOps
Thanks so much Cameron, we're glad you're seeing value in our product! Just so you know, our UI is constantly improving so we will take note of those issues immediately.

support for any device and some reporting is nice to see. Price was a benefit too. Also getting a phone call and not just a text message. That helped a lot.
Pros
Very adjustable to work with anything. And cloud base does help for future changes.
the cost turns out to be 1/2 of what we use to spend for a product we less support.
Cons
Might be a setting issue. But if you have many alerts from the same source the oncall user can get hit with a huge amount of alerts to clear before actually dealing with the issue.
But like I said it could be a setting issue.
Response from AlertOps
Awesome! I'm glad we were able to save you money and give you the support you need! The setting can be seen soon in an upcoming release, so stay tuned!
