>
> **Cons**: I am new to it so not very experienced. there is not much that i can comment on it but for some reason i was logged out and \[sensitive content hidden\] had to help me get back in.

### "I enjoyed using this software" — 4.0/5

> **Danika** | *5 August 2021* | Events Services | Recommendation rating: 7.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The software had all the features that we needed. Some functionality was a bit clunky for our needs and integrating with live auctioning.
>
> **Cons**: I found that various lists, items, etc were a bit "buried" and hard to navigate to. We used this with a live element and it was a challenge to utilize it for live updates with the way it was set up for us.
>
> I love that these kind of solutions exist\! I'm sure it will be a good fit for many events.

\*Verifying emails at check‑in slowed down lines
\*Guests who didn’t pre-register caused bottlenecks
>
> GalaBid made running our silent auction and raffle incredibly smooth. The platform was easy to set up and customize, and their support resources and live chat were very helpful. We loved having all our sales and donations flow through one place. Our only challenge was slower on-site registration for guests who hadn’t pre-registered, but overall GalaBid was an excellent tool that helped our event run successfully.

### "Great way to have an auction\!\!" — 5.0/5

> **Kitty** | *9 November 2025* | Nonprofit Organization Management | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The customer service is so helpful no matter what time of the day. Like how it sends out invoices and can send out reminders. Easy for me to set up auction and for people to use.
>
> **Cons**: I don't know of any cons I would list. I understand why a small fee has to charged to keep the site free.
>
> Have used this platform for a silent auction for over 4 years once it was not possible for me to have it in person. It is fun to watch the bidding wars when it is getting ready to close.

Tip: I started using reusable bags to put my auction items in if possible. That way it is easy for pick up and no one uses baskets anymore\!\!
