> **Pros**: What I liked most about DipTrace is how approachable and practical it feels for real PCB work. The interface is much easier to understand than many other EDA tools, and the workflow from schematic to PCB layout feels smooth and efficient. For an independent hardware developer working on small production audio electronics, that matters a lot because it reduces design friction and lets me focus more on the circuit itself rather than fighting the software.

I also like that DipTrace feels lightweight yet capable enough for serious work. It is fast to learn, comfortable to use, and well-suited for creating clean PCB layouts for analog and mixed-signal projects.

> **Cons**: One limitation I noticed is that some advanced workflows and library management tasks are not as widely documented online as they are for a few larger EDA platforms, so new users may sometimes need a bit more trial and error when working with custom parts or refining their workflow.
