Lightspeed Restaurant is a cloud-based point of sale (POS) system for restaurants. The platform offers features including sales tracking, contactless payment processing, customizable floor plans, employee management, and more. Lightspeed Restaurant POS also offers add-ons for delivery and eCommerce to allow restaurant businesses to manage their orders from end-to-end.
Lightspeed Restaurant facilitates contactless payments, as well as transactions via credit and debit cards and QR codes. Bills can be split by seat, item, or cover, and tips can be added onto bills at any point in the order process. Orders can be managed within the system, with tools for order tracking, floor plans, item transfer between tables, tab management, and more.
With Lightspeed Restaurant’s delivery module, businesses can integrate with third-party platforms such as UberEats and Deliveroo to receive orders directly and manage the delivery of each order. Restaurants can also create delivery-only menus and track the performance of different menu items using the reporting functionality. The Lightspeed Restaurant eCommerce add-on offers additional features including merchandise sales, reservation system management, website management, reviews integration, and more.

I know amount that i calculate manual in every type of payment are balance or not because kounta showing it amount minus or over, so we can double check before we accept to close cashier or shift.
Pros
Display of the pos is look modern and kounta can create recipen and inventory and back office. Pso system complet with back office.
Cons
Actually they have good features in back office for reporting. But not as good as inventory system by itself. First, POS system not completly all transaction is automaticly show in the report when want to do closing cashier (shift), like we need to do manual calculated some other transaction except cash like card and gofood payment as i used to. Because you have to submit all your type of payment on closing time then you will get report that will show your manual calculted are balance or not, split bill need to do by amount not by item, mostly apps that i was using were by item. Second, we need to buy with additional charge to get more features that we can see more details report (like insight and purchase) and that is expensive. If you dont buy, you will not get clear report as you need for analyzing restaurant performance. Third, menu item that you sell and item only you use for recipe are the same product list. Fourth, service charge and tax calculations are confusing to get the right amount. Every report that you want to dowbload as csv as not that correct way as csv.

We're integrating with Lightspeed and my experience is that they've put a great product on the market.
Pros
The product is one of the modern POS systems that it's very easy to set up and very easy to use. It's a breeze for both the users and the admins.
Cons
There is not really much to be mentioned as a con to be honest. May be that if you're experiencing some sort of a lack of internet connectivity you won't be able to mare changes, but not sure if I can qualify this as a con.

Not the greatest. The last rep that took care of my problem was the best one I had in the last 5 years. His name is [sensitive content hidden] and he should be rewarded for his excellent customer service!
Pros
It is easy to use and the back office reports are very useful.
Cons
When it glitches the time on hold on the phone is ridiculous and Lightspeed needs to put techs on the road to help out the restaurants using their product

Pros
When I was tasked with setting up a Point of Sale system in 48 hours I thought it was impossible but when I found Kounta it was easy to set up and integrate into our credit card machine in a matter of hours.
Cons
The most challenging thing that I found was I could not email the monthly receipts to my accounting team and would need to give them the main control to the platform if I wanted them to be able to access that directly.
