Being independent of pest contractor, means PestTREND can work with multiple pest contractors across all facilities.\n\nManagement of facilities at group level is hard as barriers such as the geographical spread of facilities, means it is very difficult to get a consistent single picture of what is happening. PestTREND removes those barriers and allows the group manager to segment their facilities into groups and compare across the entire organization, how well the different facilities are working. The drill down reports then allow the group managers to get to the detail without having to leave the office. It also allows for in depth preparation prior to any facility inspection.\n\nAs the pest contractor does the servicing they will also make recommendations on what additional activities should be done. There will also be audits from government bodies, standards, and clients. These audits will also produce actions. The action and recommendations can be entered into PestTREND and allocated to a user. As the action is progressed, they can be updated and tracked until completion. This provides traceability and ensures completion of tasks given to other teams.\n\nThe centralization of the pest management data also enables other stakeholders to get easy access in a secure and controlled way to the data. This means a team which handles client product complaints could self-serve reports on pest management activities for a particular facility, location within that facility and for a particular year, month and day. This would provide them with crucial information on their root cause analysis investigations.\n\nAs new technology becomes available such as e.g wireless rodent traps, different methods of data capture are needed.
