Overall, YouTube as a platform has definitely shaped my life. I've been able to watch different kinds of videos, from movies about cats to learning materials on different topics. My life has really changed due to YouTube, which is an opportunity for content creators from all over the world to reach their audiences. YouTube remains the platform I constantly turn to for entertainment, learning, and motivation, significantly changing my relationship with media and globally.
Pros
There are so many things to like about YouTube. The variety of content is mind-blowing, from entertainment to sports to news, these content make me open my YouTube app everyday. Some features I like about the platform is the ability to download, save and like videos and the different kinds of engagement I can have with my subscribed channels. I also love the recommendation algorithm which seems to know me more than myself...haha. YouTube has so many adorable features.
Cons
YouTube gets better with every update though one problem I have is the ads. Sometimes the ads are long and most times it interrupts me when I'm watching a video. I would really like for YouTube to update this so that ads won't display in the middle of videos.

Pros
Unlimited content accessible at the click of a button. There is always something to watch to keep me entertained. High quality creators are financially compensated for their work which drives excellent content on the platform.
Cons
There are unfortunately a number of channels publishing reuploads and stolen content, which I believe is an illegitimate form of business. There are also many bots advertising adult sites which should not be present on such a platform.

Free! Algorithm that lead you to related video is nice. Search engine is kind of useful for seeking specific.
Cons
Too many ads! I think subscription is also a bit expensive to remove this.

Overall, my experience with YouTube has been overwhelmingly positive. It’s my go-to platform for both watching and creating content. The ease of use, the vast library, and the social aspect of sharing and commenting make it a standout platform.
Pros
What I liked most about YouTube is the vast variety of content available. Whether it’s educational videos, entertainment, tutorials, or user-generated content, there’s something for everyone. The platform’s algorithm does a great job of recommending videos based on my interests, helping me discover new channels and topics.
Cons
What I liked least about YouTube is the increasing number of ads, which can disrupt the viewing experience, especially on longer videos. While some ads are skippable, others interrupt the flow, and it feels like there are more of them than ever before.

Pros
Love the variety of videos available, the Creative Commons option for certain videos, and often very good suggestions in my feed.
Cons
Premium could have more features. It’s not the best upgrade, even though it’s nice to have YouTube Music. Suggestions could be better sometimes.
