One important feature that no other online ordering systems for restaurants provided was the ability to order far in advance as our clients in catering events normally do only offering “day of” orders, or at most 7-8 days in advance. This lead to many clients to calling us and we’d end up inputting the order manually...which defeated the purpose of online ordering. Now with HoneyCart clients can order literally for next year if they needed to. We have yet to get any orders that far in advance yet. However, we are constantly working with clients to plan events 1-3 months in advance at a time which has been exactly what we needed. Additionally, it couldn't be easier to work with clients who may need to make any last minute edits, or cancelation or rescheduling (which we have to be ready for at any moment in current times). All the features are basically pros, which I lay out in my reviews of each feature earlier in my review. I wasn't able to properly address how wonderful the customer service is. The team at HoneyCart are very prompt, responsive, and attentive. Over the last two years, all the feedback that I provided to HoneyCart have all been implemented as new features (most feedback were sent in response to HoneyCart's feedback request emails as they're constantly working on improving an already great system)\! > > **Cons**: There are a few minor details that could be finetuned. We prefer to offer timeslots at 15 minute intervals that we would then easily be able to close off when we sell out. Currently the format they have in place allows for 15 minute intervals but no option to close ones between the hours. Meaning, we need to manually input these number slots which take a couple minutes longer to input, and it leads to a crowded calendar/time view as the timeslots build up a little. The only other feature that I wish HoneyCart had was bulk managing orders. Their system provides for super easy confirming, charging, and editing, but only one order at a time. HoneyCart does allow for bulk updates for payments and menu items, but not for orders. I usually find myself confirming multiple orders at a time, and it would be nice to do it all in one-click. Additionally, sometimes I would leave events as confirmed instead of changing to completed status, and it would be nice to clean up past orders in one-click as well. > > It has been a rewarding pleasure working with the trustworthy team at HoneyCart who are diligently working to build and maintain a user-friendly online ordering software catered to caterers.
