Among other things, ENVI-met can simulate short- and long-wave radiation influences, reflections, and multiple reflections. Furthermore, the program maps evaporation and heat flows to show their influence on plants.\n \n Other functions include the calculation of surface and wall temperatures on buildings or roofs. ENVI-met does this using up to three layers of material, which enables greening to be included in the simulation. The program also records water and heat exchanges in the soil, displays trees in three dimensions, and determines biometeorological indices such as mean radiant temperature, PET, or UTCI.
