> **Pros**: The friendly interface it offers to the user. Comparedwith other softwares, its easiness to use gives it a plus.  It also helps the reports and charts it automatically creates. You can even automate to receive reports whenever you want, as well alerts to your email.

> **Cons**: The inability to check in real time the fuel consumption. You can calculate it by multiplying the fuel consumption per mile x the distance, but other products install a sensor and you can check in real time the fuel performance. This feature can help in controlling any fuel robbery or leakage. Other thing was that the price was very high to compete in the latin american market

> I worked between 2009 - 2012 as a sales advisor for trimble´s dealer in Honduras. Since the price was way high compared with the competition, we started offering it as a plus service, whenever someone bought a truck or a heavy equipment machine. It made our customers happy to know that they were getting a gps system included in their purshace. Trimble has a very good interface, however to compete as a single fleet managment software in the latin american market they need to add a sensor to control fuel robbery (sadly,something that happens alot in this region)

> **Pros**: The support we receive from our SR Andrei Sakalouski and Sale rep \[sensitive content hidden\]
 They make the difference by being available and willing solve issues asap. They are one of the major reasons we have stay with Platform Science.

> **Cons**: Since the takeover of PS they seem to roll new things out before properly vetting them. Nothing that they have not fixed but wish they would slow down until they are sure new updates are working correctly.

> Good overall. Waiting to see what new innovation that can improve them system. The system has been stable with only a few issues nothing major. The support is what makes the difference. All the ELD system are basically the same. The stability and support are the most important along with cost.

> **Pros**: like the ELD format. like the optional plugins capability however the accuracy of some of them (like pro-miles) are not the best, tend to have glitches that can cause you some pretty substantial headaches, but when it's working anyone who has ever done fuel taxes manually will think it's the berries. It has the ability to be significantly customized to fit your individual needs def a plus.

> **Cons**: pricey. service interruptions should be expected. they seem to fix them much more quickly than in the past but if your customers require EDI from the truck it makes things. difficult. There hardware costs are substantial which puts smaller fleets into a cash crunch. some parts have good lifespan others do not. customer service used to be top notch after the buyout if more big business style let me get you a case number and I will go research your questions. the call center is now base level personnel where you used to be able to get people that really new the system. contract terms are too long and won't account for large swings in shift size which is a real issue today. we've had good reps and bad reps. If you have a bad rep get another as soon as possible other wise you experience will be a miserable one.

> **Pros**: It's flexibility, being able to add applications to increase communication and efficiencies. It is User friendly and has been adopted well by our Drivers - we're hearing little overall negative feedback on the use of our PS tablets.

> **Cons**: PS Nav has not been a reliable GPS tool - we've had several instances of Drivers being mis-routed or sent into no-truck environments.  It is a potential serious safety / compliance issue and a significant drain on Driver satisfaction.
> 
> Generally, the PS team has been awesome to work with.  We would like to see more traction on on-off projects we're working on.  The tablet-based platform is working well overall with the exception of PS Nav that we struggle with.  Overall, our it has been received well by our Drivers, Ops team, Safety department and all other stake holders.  We feel we made a good investment implementing PS telematics.

> **Pros**: Open platform - we can collaborate with the Platform Science team to make all sorts of apps avail. on the ELD tablet to help support our professional drivers.  I also like its modern appeal versus other ELD solutions we have used in the past.

> **Cons**: The mobile app for drivers is in need of further development.  Not enough load information is available once the load is dispatched (on the mobile app).  All the load info is readily avail on the in-cab tablet, as info.

> Very positive.  We are a driver-centric organization.  Its imperative the tools we use - especially when it comes to technology - make our drivers lives easier, not harder.  Platform Science has been a significant partner to that end.
