About Mailchimp
Mailchimp is a marketing automation platform that allows you to create, send, and analyze email and ad campaigns. The software offers complete campaign transparency, email tracking, view success and click-through rates, custom reports, and the ability to manage subscribers and un-subscribers. Mailchimp lets you create custom templates and at the same time choose from an array of pre-made templates and campaigns.
Mailchimp is also available as freemium solution - you can send up to 12,000 emails to 2,000 subscribers each month without any financial commitment. Most of the features, including access to marketing automation workflows as well as the ability to create ad campaigns, are available to free users. The Mailchimp mobile application gives you the power to create and send campaigns, manage subscribers, keep tabs on your account activity, and more.
Choose from numerous integrations and web services to streamline your workflow, sync customer data, generate more revenue, and grow your business. Connect your online store to Mailchimp to capture order information, create targeted campaigns, automate product follow-ups, and send personalized order notifications. Mailchimp provides support via an online knowledge base and technical support via email and live chats to help users with any questions that may come up along the way.

I've like Mailchimp and how it's pricing is better than most for small businesses. They allow you to build your business without breaking the bank.
Pros
I like how many other products integrate with mailchimp. That makes it really easy as a startup especially in ecommerce. I like that the email creation is WYSIWYG so I can quickly create beautiful emails with zero coding experience.
Cons
I wish it had a journey builder like active campaign and many other email platforms. That would round out mailchimp really nicely and make them my only option for email marketing.

Cheaper and easier to integrate.Switched From

Mailchimp helps get campaigns distributed and analyzed. The email templates themselves are great looking and attract more traffic.
Pros
Email Marketing involves a lot of moving parts but Mailchimp can simplify the process. Uploading the contact list is easy and fast, as is putting the campaign together. Mailchimps templates are convenient and easy to customize. AI and automations help campaigns move smoothly.Mailchimp has a built in CRM that's very convenient. It also has A/B testing and insightful analytics.Customer journey builder seems very interesting although I've not deployed it yet.
Cons
Mailchimp is expensive and the lowest priced plans fall short on features. There's no annual plan which usually shaves off part of the price.

I like how versatile to create your email templates with different designs but I really dislike the fact that they are being way to strict and blocked my email campaign. I wonder if it was because I had my campaign written in Chinese which they might have misunderstood my content.
Overall, I would not recommend this product to a beginner who is seeking for something simple and easy to use.
Pros
It is a very modern email marketing platform which have all-in-one marketing tools that you need if you are to subscribe to their plan.
Importing contact list can come in easy and there is a certain versatility in designing email templates and blasting them out.
Cons
Mailchimp does have a very unique layout as compared to other more structured email-marketing platforms.
I personally did not feel at ease in using the software as it is quite confusing at times.
For those who are a beginner like me and starting out to blasting emails to your clients, this may require some time to get used to the platform as most of the functions are quite complicated.
It is quite strict as well as my email campaign even got mistakenly blocked as they reviewed and mentioned that my content contained MLM's stuff which was huge mistake.
As I was still at a free trial stage, I did try to contact the support team and realized I wouldn't be able to have any help at all considering that I am not yet a customer. I was quite frustrated with the fact that I had no assistance at all and it created a bad experience for me as a new user.

The Ultimate Email Marketing Tool for Effortless Engagement and Conversion
Reviewed on 16/06/2023
Pros
As someone who has used Mailchimp extensively, I can attest to its incredible benefits. The user-friendly interface makes creating and managing email campaigns a breeze. I love how I can automate personalized emails based on specific triggers, ensuring my messages reach the right people at the right time. The template library has saved me countless hours, and the segmentation options allow me to tailor my emails for maximum impact.
Cons
As Mailchimp has expanded its features, I've found the navigation and organization to be slightly complex at times. It can be challenging to find specific functions or settings.
Reasons for Switching to Mailchimp
I chose Mailchimp because I could automate personalized campaigns easily, which helped me engage with customers and make more sales. Mailchimp also had lots of ready-made email designs to choose from, so I didn't have to make everything from scratch. I could also send targeted messages to specific groups of people, which was really useful.- Industry: Philanthropy
