Mindbody is an all-in-one software solution for businesses within the fitness and wellness industry. The platform offers tools for client scheduling, employee management, marketing, payment processing, online booking, and more. Businesses such as fitness clubs, yoga studios, salons, and spas can manage availability, accept online bookings, check-in clients, and more from the Mindbody app. The platform helps businesses keep track of each employees' schedule and plan days accordingly.

We LOVE MindBody!

At the time we began working with MindBody (5 years ago!), we had been managing our student database with Excel. At that time, we had about 350 students. I was running credit cards individually each month - for hours! We now have 550 students and I wake up on the 15th of the month and my work has been done for me!

Pros

MindBody has endless possibilities. Every time we decide to do something new or extract reports, we are pleasantly surprised that MindBody already has that feature built in! The support is phenomenal. The video support is fantastic and I can usually answer my own question without having to get on the phone or wait til morning. We are so pleased with every aspect.

Cons

Took lots of time to learn and customize to our own way of doing business. Most of the time was spent with an extremely patient personal assistant. I am not tech savvy and not young. They took time with me and I never was made to feel inept (something I wish my kids could learn!). They answered endless questions and made absolutely sure that I was well versed.

Considering there are so many new platforms that don't have the tech debt look to newer more innovative companies. MBO will see you on 20 years in the business but in tech that is actually more a liability to them. There platform coding is outdated and they are not flexible. They require third parties (more cost to the user) to patch what they can't create themselves.

They require third parties (more cost to the user) to patch what they can't create themselves.

Cons

We have been with MBO for almost over 4 years. They have the right to change you billing options at will. So complicated to get anything done. They have a department within a department. You try to get an answer to a question and you are sent to three different people and maybe you will get an answer. Our Account Rep can't even get an answer to our question and refers us to the website or refers us to another department because they don't have the power to fix (change an email address).

They changed their billing tiers and ours was obsolute. Instead of talking to us and finding which of the new tiers we wanted they took the liberties and changed us to the more expensive tier. We didn't need the functionalities of the more expensive tier. When we asked for a refund they denied us saying that they emailed us. Problem is the email they had wasn't even an email that has ever existed ([email protected]) and not the email used every single day to sign in and had every single permission within the software.

It is a great experience for me to use this on my daily work as this helps me to see the problems on the members account and how to manage it properly as well as for the booking, I can see all available classes.

Pros

What I like most about mind body is for it as a being user friendly.

Cons

I will suggest for the Mindbody to let users see their payment transactions or auto sending of receipts

Overall, I would recommend the MindBody app for its convenience. Makes for a worry/stress free fitness experience!

Pros

I have to use MindBody to schedule my gym classes, and the app is pretty easy to use. The payment process was smooth, and I love how it saves time at the gym to be able to take care of scheduling and payments ahead of time.

Cons

I think the app can be a little more user-friendly for older people. The language and accessibility just isn't as straightforward as it could be in my opinion.
