Gmail
About Gmail
Gmail is a free, advertising-supported email service offered as part of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite). With 15GB of email storage provided for free, users can access Gmail as secure webmail, as well as via POP3 or IMAP4.
Gmail automatically sorts emails into separate, customizable tabs (e.g. Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates) which users can add or remove as desired. Both inbound and outbound messages can be translated into other languages in Gmail, where users can also respond to invites, track packages, and leave reviews, without leaving the app.
Starring and custom color labels let users neatly organize email threads (conversations), while Google-powered search allows users to locate messages from any thread, quickly and easily.
With Gmail's Hangouts, users can instant message with others, as well as host video calls with up to 15 participants, straight from their inbox. The platform is accessible from any mobile device, via either native mobile apps for Android or iPhone/iPad, or via a native mobile web app.
Key benefits of Gmail
• Choose a professional looking custom email - e.g. [email protected] - for your company and team members to use.
• Host video meetings with up to 15 participants, straight from your Gmail inbox, with Hangouts.
• Access your email account on Android, iPhone, and Blackberry devices, via native mobile apps or the Gmail mobile web app.
• Automatically sort and label incoming emails with Gmail's color-coded inbox filters, similar to 'folders' in old email programs, but emails can have multiple labels applied.
• Recall or 'unsend' emails for a short period of time after you've clicked "send".

I think it has been a good experience overall, but I really hate the way they have things on offer (like space) and then they retract that and charge you for it when you get used to it.
Pros
Spam blocker is better than anything else out there.
The inbox look is clean, and emails tend to get through without outages and problems.
Calendar management is great.
Set up with own domain is exceptional.
Great layout of Google One, personal administration space.
Cons
The surveillance associated with Google, and intrusion into everything.
Rubbish integration with things like home automation (none).
Google not providing the functionality of things like IFTTT, etc. (so you have to buy one of those services instead or get used to poorly designed alternatives in the suite).
Contacts management is awful.
Terrible integration for multiple work accounts on mobile phone.
Ridiculously bad layout of their Google Workspaces administration space.
